Eligibility Criteria:
Have completed high school (or earned a high school equivalency credential)
Enrolled in eligible program in Fall 2021
Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program (up to 2 years) at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States
Demonstrated critical financial need (must be eligible to receive the Federal Pell grant as determined by completion of the FAFSA)

Mas Family Foundation Scholarship
Students interested in applying must be Cuban or of direct Cuban descent, have a 3.5 GPA or higher, demonstrate leadership and community involvement, and have financial need. You can find more information and the online application at www.jmcff.org
To be considered for any of our five HEAT Scholarships, the student must meet the following criteria:
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Applicant must be a high school student enrolled in a Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe or Palm Beach County public or private school.
Applicant must have a minimum un-weighted GPA of 3.2 by the end of the first grading period of their senior year.
Applicant must submit an official transcript from the high school registrar along with a copy of their SAT and/or ACT score.
Applicant must have an unmet financial need for assistance as determined by the university’s Financial Aid Office. In order to prove a financial need, please submit a copy of the household’s W2 form(s) and a copy of the last tax filing (i.e. 1040 form) for all household members.

Horatio Alger National Scholarship – For Juniors

● Eligibility: The Mark Wandall Foundation Scholarship Program is open only to legal residents of the state of Florida, who are between 17 and 25 years of age, have experienced the death of a parent or guardian, and are currently enrolled in, or have been accepted to, a college, university, or trade school within the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico. Employees of The Mark Wandall Foundation or the employee’s immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and those living in their same households, whether related, are not eligible to enter or win a scholarship.
