The 49 Fund “The 49 Fund,” is an endowed scholarship fund that will be administered by The Central Florida Foundation (CFF), in honor of the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting. This unique scholarship will be offered specifically to LGBT students in Central Florida. The scholarships will be awarded to students who strive to by leaders and want to make a positive impact on our community. Please join us in our quest to offer up to ten (10) $4,900 scholarships annually to deserving gay students in Central Florida. All donations are appreciated and will ensure that the 49 who lost their lives will always be remembered.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide unrestricted post-secondary funds to eligible LGBTQ and straight ally scholars who have completed at least 12 credit hours of college-level courses, and reside in Brevard County. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, and have been of service to the queer community.
The Anita Priest Whispering Angels Memorial Scholarship Foundation
Established in 2007 in memory of her late partner, renowned Interior Designer Anita Priest, the “Whispering Angels” Memorial Scholarship program founded by Sandra Holiday is a legacy program that provides a scholarship for the LGBT community to advance their education in the area of Design and or the Arts.
