The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test, better known as the PSAT is test very similar to the SAT.
Beginning from 8th grade, students of Mater Lakes arerequired to take this exam. Every year, the test date will vary, but the general date will land around the middle of October.
This year, 2021, the exam will be scheduled for Tuesday, January 26 at 8 A.M
You are only eligible in applying to the NMSQT only if you are a junior upon taking the PSAT.
Depending on the score obtained, you may also be eligible for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, as it's based upon the score you get on the PSAT.
The structure of the PSAT is extremely similar to the SAT :
